Introduction: Laser Cut Moose Mug

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a classic. One of the favorite scenes is them drinking punch from a moose mug. While these are available from online sources, here is one you can make yourself.

Supplies

1/8 inch Plexiglas (acrylic sheet)

acrylic solvent glue

9 ounce disposable cups

laser cutter/etcher

Step 1: Cut Out Moose Sections

Use the laser cutter/etcher to cut out the two sections of the moose mug.

Attachments

Step 2: Bond Acrylic Pieces Together

Using the acrylic bonding bonding solvent, glue the nose to the antlers at the notches in each section.

Step 3: Ready to Party

Drop in a disposable 9 ounce cup and you are ready to party. Do not glue the cup to the moose. Hand wash only.
